2020-2021: NEW OFFICES AND NEW ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT
In the course of 2020, despite the very difficult situation caused by the pandemic, in addition to guaranteeing production continuity, we were able to complete the construction of the new office buildings and the new assembly department, which has recently become fully operational, demonstrating our desire to grow and bet on the future.
Therefore, in addition to the historic property, Olocco srl has added a further 150m2 of commercial and technical offices and over 400m2 for the new assembly department.
Our development philosophy continues year after year, and there will be more important news soon.
A GROUP, A FAMILY, A COMPANY IN CONTINUOUS GROWTH
Olocco has always designed and manufactured its own products based on the core principles of quality and efficiency.
Founded in 1950 in Fossano, Olocco used the economic boom wave of the years to build special machines for various multinational companies with local offices , automotive, plastics, rubbers and food.
It’s the next decade to sign the turning point when, at the turn of the 70s , the company is oriented towards the design and mass production of machines for metering and pneumatic conveying of powders and granules, starting from 3 simple types valves.
In 1990 the changing needs convinced the property to move into a new and larger building (3,000 square meters) in the industrial area, in order to cope with a domestic market and established a foreign market in full growth.
Among the first business realities industry, in 1997 the company is certified with the quality system ISO9001 , to further ensure a high-tech product made in Italy and later in 2001 , certifies its range of products according to ATEX Directives 94/9/EC..
In the years that followed, despite the large series production and the variety of valves reached the same Olocco starts treating versions “special” to be able to respond to every request of the market, from food, plastics, chemical, pharmaceutical and construction materials .
A winning choice that will allow it to better mitigate the global crisis will affect the market in 2009 and subsequent years. In this context that in 2012 even the achievement of certification “explosion and fl ameproof” EN 15089 for the range of rotary valves compartimentanti with college IBExU , while the international body Dekra could care certifi their production systems with the “Quality Assurance“.
In 2015 the 65 years of activities are celebrated with new investments in machinery (among which the new horizontal machining center Heller 4500 H ) with an expansion of production lines.
This is to be able to look to the future by focusing once again to raise the quality and technology of valves manufactured.
In 2016 two latest generation machines arrive: the Heller 5000 horizontal machining center and the DMG-MORI NLX2500 turning center. In 2017, Olocco srl is equipped with a new flooring for the production area.
